Position Overview:

The Senior Director, Strategic Account Management is primarily responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities for select clients in Bracket.  The Senior Director is focused on a core set of established and strategic accounts which include active, well established customers for Bracket.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develops and enhances client relationships with a specific focus on advancing/supporting customer relationships with Bracket assigned key accounts
Identifies, develops and closes opportunities within his/her assigned area of responsibility
Qualifies leads and develops plan to successfully convert opportunities to awards
Manages all aspects of advancing qualified leads to awarded business including:

Developing project budgets utilizing in-house resources to ensure budget accuracy

Coordinating with other Bracket personnel involved in ‘closing’ the opportunity including Practice Leaders, Client Services, and Finance

Closes new business including coordinating the timely execution of contracts for awarded projects.

Identifies areas for strategic growth and expansion at existing clients
Monitors and oversees all ongoing projects within portfolio of assigned accounts to ensure client satisfaction and issue resolution
Liaises with Client Services teams and oversees regular account management meetings for all clients

Requirements:  (Knowledge, Skills, Experience):

At least five years of sales experience within the pharmaceutical industry with proven track record of consistently meeting sales targets and expanding business relationships with large, global, complex customers.

Previous experience with business development for clinical trials is required.

Proven, long-term track record of successful client relationship management and business development performance with clinical research and development Director and VP level customers within pharmaceutical organizations.

Experience selling specialty services to clinical researchers, contract research organizations, and the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

Ability to work independently, manage time and create plans to achieve personal goals, while focusing on the success of the team is critical.

Ability to think strategically and act tactically in a dynamic environment is essential.
