Position Overview:

The Translation Associate facilitates the delivery of translations deliverables including text translations, subtitling, voiceover, and linguistically validated translations for assigned data quality projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Execute translation and production requirements for subtitling, document translation and voice-over projects, ensuring on-time delivery and high quality standards
  • Assist in recruiting translators on an as needed basis
  • Coordinate and communicate with translation vendors regarding project status and logistics
  • Assist with coordination of Clinical Resource review of required translations
  • Assist with project tracking and communication with translators to ensure all languages and deliverables are addressed
  • Assist with QC activities (document formatting, back-translation review, etc.) for assigned translation projects, as assigned
  • Input translation information into proprietary scale information repository
  • Prepare weekly project status reports including weekly/monthly metrics for manager and department reporting
  • Assist in creating reports for Linguistic Validation Projects
  • Assist in creation of translator database and manage data



  • BA degree preferred (language, linguistic, English, or translation) and 1-2 years’ experience OR MA degree preferred (language, linguistic, English, or translation) and 0-1 year experience
  • Excellent organizational skills; at least one year administrative experience preferred

  • Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once in deadline-sensitive environment
  • Great communication and writing skills, customer service oriented


  • Foreign Language proficiency a plus
