Position Overview:

The Training and Development Coordinator will support the HR Director to develop a training and development function in line with company objectives. The key areas of support will include: developing and maintaining a training function that supports the effective provision of Bracket services. The Training and Development Coordinator will support the development of Brackets key strategic training objective of providing a knowledge at the point of need function.  You will assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the HR Director

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support the HR director to help design and expand training and development within Bracket based on the needs of the organization and the individual

Work with cross functional teams to support the development of a full suite of functional/technical training

Schedule and maintain all provided training programs

Manage and keep up-to-date the list of expert train trainers

Maintain the efficient administration of the training function

Maintenance of the company’s new hire orientation program

Produce training materials for in-house courses

Manage the delivery of training and development program

Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers

Ensure that statutory training requirements are met

Evaluate training and development programs

 

Amend and revise programs as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment

Keep up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses

Support the creation and or/design of an e-learning training provision through the use of e-learning packages

Research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and present this research.

Deliver training courses

Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes

Market available training opportunities to employees and provide necessary information

Assess instructional effectiveness and summarize evaluation reports determining the impact of training on employee skills and how it affects KPIs

Maintain updated curriculum database and training records

Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment

Education

BS degree in Education, Training, HR or related field

Experience

Some experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting

Knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles

Proven ability to master the full training cycle

Good knowledge of learning management software

Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques

Sound decision making and organizational skills

Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences

Proficiency in MS Office and in database software

Good organizational skills
